What is the coffee county gun clubThe Club actively prides itself in supporting the 2nd Amendment, along with passing on sportsmanship and safe firearms handling to everyone. We welcome new shooters through the experienced shooter in the club. We strive to enhance bettering ourselves in marksmanship and friendly competition. How to become a memberTo become a member of the Coffee County Gun Club there is a process to complete. These steps are meant to help guide new members into the club and streamline the members’ information into the club records.

300 yard Range QualificationYou must qualify to be able to use the range. --The Qualification Course for the 300 yard Range will consist of: 1. Range safety. a. General range safety. b. No rapid fire shooting. 2. Where to shoot from. a. Bench rests. b. Prone shooting allowed next to the concrete pad. 3. Allowable targets. a. Club provided target stands. b. No shooting at ground targets. 4. Distances for those targets. a. Targets at 200 yard and 300 yards. b. Use the 150 yard range for shorter distances. 5. Shooting a. 100 yard target on the 150 yard range b. 200 yard target on the 300 yard range c. 300 yard target on the 300 yard range Those attending need to make sure their rifles are at least zeroed at 100 yards. Instructors will be on site to assist shooters in becoming qualified. |
